OPA836: How much high/low subthreshold on PD pin when it is used +/2.5V?

Part Number: OPA836
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV2362,

Hi team

Could you let me know how much high/low subthreshold on PD pin when it is used +/2.5V?

Best Regards,
Takanori Yuzawa

  • Hi Takanori,

Technically, the enable voltage threshold for the OPA836 would be 2.1V above the negative rail (Vs-) and the disable voltage threshold is specified for voltages below (Vs-) + 0.7V. On a +/-2.5V supply, this corresponds to -0.4V for the enable voltage threshold and -1.8V for the disable voltage threshold. You could consider using a +/-2.5 dual supply comparator such as the TLV2362 to drive the pin fully to 2.5V or -2.5V while driving the power down pin.

    Best regards,

    Sean
