LMH6624: LMH6624-MDC - Operating Temperature

Part Number: LMH6624

Hello,

We have a customer who would like to know if this device (the DIE version) would be okay to run at -55C as a normal operating condition. The package device is rated to -40C.

I am not finding a spec for the die temp, only the package device spec.

Could someone please advise?

Thank you,

  • Hi Gabriel,

I don't think the LMH6624 package device/die is rated to operate down at -55C as a normal operating condition. If the customer is planning to operate the LMH6624 die down to -55C, you would see some violation of DC and linearity parameters compared to what is mentioned in the datasheet.

  • Rohit, any RELIABILITY issues operating a LMH6624 DIE at -55C? Specs degrading not important.
  • Hi Joseph,

I cannot think of any reliability issue operating the LMH6624 die at -55'C. However, something to keep in mind is that if the design is marginal then the LMH6624 might oscillate at -55'C. But, that could be an application circuit issue instead of a reliability problem and could be fixed externally by tweaking the external component values.

    Best Regards,
    Rohit
