Thank you for your interest in the INA240EVM. Presuming you operate at room temperature, the device has a margin of 100 ᵒC under which it is within recommended operating conditions (-40ᵒC to 125ᵒC). The current will be limited by the narrowest region of the trace. The most narrow region is 129 mils wide. Thus for a DC current, the max recommended current would be 7.86A.
