TRF37A73: 2Vpp into 100 ohm load at 30 kHz to 1 GHz analog buffer needed

TRF37A73 output choke is not possible across the frequency range needed. Is there a different part that is better suited to this application?

Hi Ron,

It will be difficult to achieve the 2Vpp at 1 GHz. I suggest taking a look at the OPA694, which is a current feedback amplifier.

Figure 36 and the section around it discuss the unity gain configuration.

Another candidate is the BUF602, which has a BW of 920 MHz when Vo = 1Vpp, so it doesn't quite make the cut but I wanted to mention it.

Hi Ron,

Do you know whether the customer is looking for single-ended output such as the TRF37A73, or will the customer be open on using a differential output? If they can use a differential output, then it should be possible to use the LMH3401 or LMH5401 in 0-dB gain configuration and should support the 2Vpp output swing at 1GHz while driving a 100-ohm load.
