LM358LV: Could you tell me about "New Rerese with LM358LV and LM2904LV "

Part Number: LM358LV
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2904LV, , LM2902LV, LM324LV, LM2904, LM358

Hi, team.

I am trying to convey new product general-purpose op-amps to our company salespeople.

(Purpose: Promotion of new products)

Looking at the data sheet, the electrical characteristics and packages of the LM358LV and LM2904LV are the same.
(The same applies to LM324LV and LM2902LV)

So, please tell me the difference between these two and why it was released as a separate product.

Best regards,

Pokkun

    Hello Pokkun,

They are the same parts and are priced the same. There is no difference.

This was done due to the name recognition of the two parts. Typically, LM2904 and LM358 are NOT the same. However, the LV parts are the same and, consequently, priced the same.

    Regards,

    Daniel
  • Hi, Daniel-san.

    Thank you for the answer!

I understood that each product is completely identical chip.

    Best regards,
    Pokkun (Masumi Sekiguchi)
