OPA2830 is working fine as a wein bridge oscillator with dual supply(+/- 5v) generating sine wave of 100khz oscillating from -5 to +5v....when i connect the same circuit using OPA2830 with single supply (5v), the TINA simulation results ends up in nothing...can you suggest me the possible solution to generate a sine wave of 100khz oscillating from 0 -5v... For your reference ,i m attaching the .TSC file of the wein bridge oscillator.kindly do suggest the possible changes to be made to achieve the same at the earliest.wein_bridge.TSC

Hello Nandini,

When using the OPA2830 in a single supply configuration, your circuit is not properly biased. You will see that running a DC simulation produces 37.4mV at your output, which is outside of the output swing of the device. According to the datasheet the output needs to be at least 90mV under a single supply configuration for the OP-amp to operate correctly. For full-scale swing and minimal distortion for your oscillator, your output should be biased to mid-supply.

it's called "Wien bridge", not "wein bridge", to honour the physicist Max Wien, who invented the "Wien bridge" in 1891. William Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, was the first to use a "Wien bridge" as a feedback network around a vacuum tube amplifier to create an oscillator in 1939, according to
