TLV6700: Unused pin check

Part Number: TLV6700

Hi,

It's a query about TLV6700 unused pin.

If we only need one set (pin INA+ and OUTA), is the other set (INB- and OUTB) can be floating directly or not ?

Thanks.

  • Hi,

I would connect a 10k resistor from the "INB-" pin to "GND" and leave the "OUTB" pin unconnected.

  • Hi User,

Kai is correct, but you don't even need the input resistor - just ground the INB- pin and you can also ground the OUTB pin as it is designed for that.

As with any device, you should not let any input pin "float" if they were not specifically designed to "float".
