Hello,

I have a noniverting amplifier design with TLV2324. The noniverting signal is a sine vawe and as output I expected to get 500x gain. But the input and output looks like DC signals. Do you have any idea about why the input and output signal shapes look like these? My gain calculation is also true?

Hi Alpaslan,

Doesn't look like you have any negative feedback in your circuit. Try connecting the output to the right side of R1 and trying again. If you could attach the simulation, that would help us out as well.

You are right! I fixed the negative feedback but the problem is still there.

the negative supply voltage had the wrong polarity:

But take care, the TLV2324 is a micropower OPAmp and due to its very low speed the TLV2324 cannot achieve a high bandwidth with a gain of 500:

Can you briefly describe how you plot these figures? I am new at Tina TI.

Actually, I calculated the gain which is 500 based on the Av= (1+R1/Requ) equation. Requ=[(R3xR2)/(R3+R2)]=~240. Av=~(500). So the gain is also related with bandwith?

Well sure BW is related to gain through the Gain Bandwidth product idea, the 27kHz quoted in the data sheet would get divided by the gain for closed loop BW to give 54Hz. If you need faster, use a higher gain bandwidth product device.

Hi Alpaslan,

first, you should open VG1 by double clicking with the left mouse button and set the input signal. Then click on "Analysis" in the header of simulator window and choose "AC Analysis" or "Transient...". The handling is rather self-explanatory.

What signal bandwidth do you need?

Yes, that is correct. More GBW is "faster" less GBW is "slower"

Actually, at this point, I just concentrated on how my circuit amplifies the input signal. I try to correlate my calculation which is 501 gain and output signal's amplitude. I didn't consider about bandwidth.
