Hi,

Please let me make sure the below.

Is 「INVERTING LARGE-SIGNAL FREQUENCY RESPONSE」in Figure 4 typo ?

NONINVERTING …. Is correct ?

G= -5, RF = 576 ohm described in Figure 4 is that gain is minus.

Is it typo ?

In Figure 4, RF = 576 ohm is correct ?

Morning Michiaki,

Well Figure 4 does have an error, the G=2 should be G=-2, yes this is inverting 2Vpp output plot - but, this part should not be used for new designs, (too much production variation). It does offer 15V total supply which is kind of unique over the other 1GHz type 12V CFA like the OPA695 etc. I extended the min operating on the THS3491 down to 14V min to overlap the THS3201 performance space, use that if possible.

Hello Michiaki,

This is a typo, figure 4 should state "Non-inverting Large-Signal Frequency Response." G= -5 should be labeled as G = 5.

You can see that in this plot the lowest gain is 2, which makes sense for a non-inverting configuration. Also the feedback resistors being used (576 & 715) correspond to the non-inverting gains in table 1.

Referred the table 1, in the case of Vs = 7.5V, Gain 5, datasheet recommend RF = 619 ohm but in Figure 4, G=5 RF=576ohm was described.

Is it typo ?

why do you care when you should not be using this device. NRND, if we had your requirements a suitable alternate is likely available.

Hello Michiaki,

No it seems that the RF values that were used in both figures 4 & 5 all refer to +/- 5V supplies in table 1.

It means that the below Vs = ±7.5V described in figure4. Should be typo.

Hello Michiaki,

Not sure where the issue lies exactly on the plot. It could be either the supplies or the feedback resistors stated. However, I would recommend sticking to the recommended values on the table. If you would like a more damped response, you can increase the feedback resistor value.
