Two wires RTD measurement

Hi all,

I want to measure two wire RTD sensor (NTC or PTC) but I cant find any IC for this purpose. Generally, there are many IC that measure three wire or four wire RTD but I am using four wire RTD as two wire RTD. So is there IC that you can suggest for two wire RTD measuring ? Can you help me ?

Hi Bulent,

ADS1220 and TIDA00165 may be the best option: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00165

The ADS1246 may be a good device alternative to the ADS1220. I would also suggest taking a look at the ADS124S06 family of device which is our latest and greatest for this application, although it will have some unused channels with a 2 wire measurement.

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for answer. However, I am searching IC that has analog input and analog output. For example INA333. I want to use ina333 but I am not sure it that will work like I am using and I asked it in forum. You can arrive this link https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers/f/14/t/861151
