RC4136: What to do with unused Op Amps?

Hi All, if I am not using all four op amps in an RC4136, what's the safest thing to do with the unused terminals? Floating? Ground? Add an unnecessary buffer stage?

Ben,

Best would to setup a buffer stage. Do not directly ground the buffer input. Add some resistance between input and ground. 1k to 10k will be fine.

If a buffer stage is undesirable (for any reason), what is the recommended way to isolate the last stage?

Ben,

The recommendation for unused amplifiers (section 7.2) in this application note for a somewhat similar op amp should also apply to RC4136 (other than soft VOL).
