LMH6881: LMH6881 NC pins

Hi!

I am preparing a board using the LMH6881 and I've found some conflicting information about the use of NC pins.

On the datasheet, pins 1, 14 and 18 are marked as NC, with no further instructions on connection. This thread here actually recommends floating (not grounding) although no further clarification is offered.
Schematics for TIDA-00094 reference design use the same pinout.

However, the evaluation module LMH6881EVAL shows a different pinout (pin names DC1, DCOC, DC2 respectively) and connection.

Could you clarify the correct approach for this part and/or any compatibility recommendations?

Hello epoves,

A similar question was recently raised regarding the dual-channel version of this part, the LMH6882, and its NC pins. The resolution was that the pins are not internally connected and can be left floating - the differing pin names and added caps in the EVM are because that EVM design was intended to support other ICs that did use those pins. Due to the extensive reuse between the LMH6882 and LMH6881 EVMs I imagine the same applies here.
