OPA2227: OPA2227

Part Number: OPA2227
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2210

Hello,

1- Can I consider  OPA2227  as a cross reference to this part of Analog devices  AD8672 which has this datasheet:

https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/AD8671_8672_8674.pdf                       ??

2-Also Can You help me to know if Texas part number OPA2227, Analog devices Part number AD8672  support dual supply voltage or single supply voltage or both single and dual supply voltages ??

3- Also what values of supply voltages for both of them??

Appreciate your fast response.

  • Hi Ahmed,

why not having a look into the datasheets by yourself?

  • Hi Ahmed,

The OPA2227 is comparable in electrical performances to the AD8672 and could be applied in the same applications. However, there is a next generation TI precision op amp that I think is a better choice and provides even higher levels of electrical performances; OPA2210. The OPA2210 uses our Super beta transistor process resulting in extremely low voltage offset and noise, and wide bandwidth operation. Here is a link to the OPA2210 datasheet:

    https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa2210.pdf

The OPA2210 can be operated with a supply range of ±2.25 V to ±18 V. Even though the supply is specified as ± V, it can be used with a single supply providing the proper input common-mode voltage (VCM) and output voltage ranges are observed. If you are unfamiliar with applying a dual supply op amp in a single supply application see this TI, Burr-Brown legacy Application Bulletin on the subject:
