Dear Sir,

I am working with Battery Monitoring System.

I want to measure charging current and discharging current using single amplifier.

Charging current is 20A(Max) and discharging current is 60A(Max). My shunt value is 1.5m ohm.

I want current sense amplifier with variable gain.For example -  Gain value - 50 to 100(Charging current) and gain value - 20(discharging current ).

Please refer suitable current sense amplifier for my application.

    arun,

    With current sensing amplifiers, the amount of current is usually limited by the choice of shunt resistor, and the thermal issues caused byt he high amount of current. Most products in the portfolio meet the above critera, provided that the device can handle the common mode applied to the inputs. 

    For a part with optional gain settings, I would recommend looking at the INA225.
