Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA454, OPA551
I want to use the OPA454 to amplify a 3.3V varying amplitude pulse train to 50V. The pulses are 50us wide and repeat at 1ms. I chose the OPA454 because of its high voltage operation and relatively low Iq. In my described application the duty cycle of the pulses is rather high, so I want to make use of the shutdown capability of the opamp to significantly reduce Iq. (Device is battery operated.)
From the datasheet it is not entirely clear to me how to interface 3.3V control logic to the E/D and E/D Com pins. If someone can enlighten me on how to do this properly without frying my uC with 50V.. would be greatly appreciated!
