Hi All:

The following is my circuit.

And now ,i measurement the PIN 7(Q4 of the CD4060BM96),and the frquency is 20HZ)

The frequency should near 2K ,WOuld you please help me ?

datasheet says: "RC oscillator applications are not recommended at supply voltages below 7V for Rx < 50k."

HI kai klaas69:
If using 3.0V as the power supply, the Resistor & Capacitor should waht's to be set to get the 2K frequency ?
R1 =?
R5=?
C4=?
Would you please help me ?

Hi James,

why not taking the 74HC4060? It can much better handle a supply voltage of 3V.

Hi James,

Since the CD4060 is not optimized for 3V operation, consider the P2p equivalent CD74HC4060 device.
The datasheet specifies the Rx Cx for 2khz frequency on page 7.
