INA240: Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) for 3 Amplifier Parts

Part Number: INA240

Hi!  I'm doing a solder joint analysis for an assembly that uses the following 3 amplifier parts:

INA240A1QPWRQ1

TL331MDBVTEP

AMC1302QDWVRQ1

Could you please tell me the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of these parts?

I really appreciate the help!

  • Hi David,

Although the lead frames are different, all three devices have Cu as base metal and pre-plated NiPdAu coating. The CTE are about 17 and 13 ppm/⁰C respectively for these two materials. I think this is the information you’re looking for that is relevant to solder joint analysis.

I’m getting our packaging expert to confirm however. I’ll post here again if there is any correction or additional information.

    Regards, Guang

  • Thank you so much! This is exactly the information I needed, and I appreciate it.

I'm reluctant to click "This resolved my issue" before you've had a chance to confirm it. I'll wait a couple of days and see if you post an update.

    Thanks again!
