replacing TL072 with OPA627 and TL074 with LME49740NA

I was thinking of replacing the above mentioned ic. Would those ic are just drop in replacement ? would that give me better result in audio quality?

what is the difference between OPA627AP and OPA627BP?

application : fm stereo encoder inside solidyne audio processor 562DSP

Hari,

There are many possible hazards when replacing op amps in existing equipment. I suggest that you read the following design note before proceeding:

The difference between the OPA627AP and OPA627BP is the specified input offset voltage. This does not affect audio performance.
