INA118: Differential amplifier through EEG

I used a circuit involving INA118P. When I kept the Rg = 500 ohm and supply voltage +5/-5 and input through a function generator of 20mv p-p, I was getting the output 0.2 v p-p. The gain should be of 100 but is actually giving only 10. Please help me.

    Hi Vishal,

    Please measure the 500 Ohm resistor and make sure that it is correct. If it is okay, please post your INA118P schematic so we can look it over. Show the input generator and output load connections. What is the input frequency?

    Did you obtain your INA118P through an authorized TI distributor?
