Audio Amplifier Problem

hello,

I just built this power amplifier, it uses the TA 8216 and is built exactly after the suggested schematic. I'm powering it from a 24V switch mode PSU.
Now the Problem: If no speaker is connected, it draws about 150mA of current, as stated in the datasheet. If I connect just a single speaker, it doesn't change at all (on both channels). If ,however, I connect both speakers, it suddenly draws abour 400mA of quiescent current(without a signal). Both speakers are AC coupled and all capacitors are working (105°C, low ESR).
Except for the fact that it overheats after a few seconds, it works just like a charm and has good quality sound. The IC isn't damaged from overheating, I heatsinked it and cut the power when it got hot.

I hope anybody has a solution for the problem (I have an oscilloscope for troubleshooting if needed, although there is no noise on the speakers).

Greetings
