TLV6004: Filter selection

Hi TI forum.,

Greetings of the Day.

I am using TLV6004 as Differential to single Ended conversion.

For this i am decided to use RC Filter at both input and output terminal.Please suggest which type of RC should I use. Am I go with Combined RC or Individual RC .

I would be grateful, if you could advise.

Hi Theboral,

can you explain a bit more what you need the filtering for? Do you suffer from common mode noise or differential mode noise? What is connected to the inputs and output of your TLV6004 circuit? Can you show a schematic?

Hi theboral,

It seems like you are looking to build the classic difference amplifier configuration. For strong CMRR performance, matching the resistor values is important. To this end, it is good to pick accurate resistors.

Here is a good resource which explains how to pick resistor tolerance based on a CMRR specification. If you are expecting to use capacitors for your RC circuits, then C0G/NP0 capacitors are the way to go.
