AM335x Nitro power sequencing

Hello Team,

Can you clarify the power sequence for Nitro mode on the AM335x series (to run at 1GHz)? Specifically, since the VDD_CORE and VDD_MCU voltages need to be different, do they still ramp simultaneously or is there a desired order?

    Hi,

    No, there is no specific sequence to ramp up VDD_CORE and VDD_MCU voltages. If the recommended PMICs are used, they will start with both voltages at 1.1V and then software will boost VDD_MCU voltage for Nitro mode. If other power solution is used VDD_MCU voltage can be directly ramped up to Nitro mode voltage.
