Hi,

Let me talk about PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW of PROFIBU and Ethernet/IP.

I understand These software need Processor SDK RTOS for AMxxx.

Can you tell me latest version of Processor SDK RTOS PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW of
PROFIBU and Ethernet/IP need ?

I see Release note and User's guide for PROFIBU and Ethernet/IP.
But It is not described in these.
It is described in User's guide for PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW of EtherCAT.

Hiroyasu, you are right, our user guide and release notes for Profibus and Ethernet/IP are missing this information. We already opened a ticketed for that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Below PSDK version information

PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER 01_00_02_00 uses PSDK 3.3.0.4

PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS-SLAVE 01_00_01_01 uses PSDK 4.0.0.4

PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER 01_00_02_00 uses PSDK 3.3.0.4

PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS-SLAVE 01_00_01_01 uses PSDK 4.0.0.4

We think User for Multiprotocol does not use difference version.

Is it available to use PSDK 3.3.0.4 for PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS-SLAVE ??

PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER 01_00_02_00 uses PSDK 3.3.0.4
PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS-SLAVE 01_00_01_01 uses PSDK 4.0.0.4.

Multiprotocol user want to use same vesion for PDK.
Is it accetable to use PSDK 3.3.0.4 for PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER ??

Hiroyasu-san, I will ask a colleague who has worked on Industrial Multiprocol demos before. From what I see PRU-ICSS Ethernet/IP and Profibus Slave only coincide in PDK version in their first release

PRU-ICSS-EthernetIP_Adapter_01.00.00.00 (PDK 1.0.2)

PRU-ICSS-Profibus_Slave_01.00.00.00 (PDK 1.0.2)

Because this versions are old releases, I wouldn't advise to use them, as some bug fixes and improvements have been done since them..

Hi Hiroyasu,

As Paula advised, customers need to move to new PRU-ICSS-ETHERNETIP-ADAPTER 1.0.2 on top of PSDK 3.3.0.4. Note there are a few PDK patches under PRU-ICSS-EthernetIP_Adapter_01.00.02.00\protocols\pdk_patches\03.03.00 that must be applied to PDK 1.0.6.
