I think this is tied to the board_cfg.h file that contains some of the pin level definitions.
Obviously, there is a pinmux aspect to this if you are mapping pins that are not part of the example, so please ensure the correct pinmux settings are enabled for that particular pin.

Thanks for the response. I know it is very critical so i want to be sure like am I using right configuration and so on. I saw quite a lot post, video and documents I didn't find a useful guide helping out with PIN configuration. GPIO example project toggles LED where LED pins index was 0 and 1 as defined in an enum. But how to decide on other pins?

This thread is different. I wanted to know how the index is calculated for a perticular pin. Assume if I want to keep gpio1_9 high. What is the index this same pin?
