TAS5825M: Possible issue at 5V PVDD

Part Number: TAS5825M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2764

Hi team,

TAS5825M datasheets recommends PVDD from 4.5V, but actually it has 5V-LDO for internal gate driver and so on. Does it means 5V is minimum necessary voltage for gate drivers? What kind of problem is expected with PVDD=5V? (e.g. short through on MOSFET, etc.)

If 5V is necessary for the internal circuits, then how much voltage is recommended on PVDD in terms of the drop-out at 5V-LDO?

My customer is assuming stereo-BTL 2W/4ohm, if 5V is not enough, they need to add a boost-converter.

Regards,
Kazuto
