PCM2902C: signal lost in android environment

I have a question regarding the PCM2902C.

We are trying to receive stereo signals by inputting two analog signals using PCM2902C IC.

Two signals are recorded properly when the designed circuit is plugged into a USB in a PC window10 environment.

However, in the case of tablet devices (Glaxy tab 6, Android), only one signal is output even if two input signals are provided.

There must be a way to solve this.

Do you have to adjust the alternative settings that control the output by adjusting the interface so that the tablet also outputs two signals?

Maybe you know how to use alternative settings?

Hi Lidong,

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Windows or Android environment. Do you know what format of audio the Android system is expecting? does this match with what the device is sending?

We don't know for sure what the format of the data is. In Windows, the microphone is recognized as USB Audio Codec and recorded, and Android recognizes the same.

Hi Lidong,

We don't have any Android system experts on the team but as long as the device is configured for the same format, I wouldn't expect there to be any issues. Is the customer able to probe any of the inputs at the time of sending audio data to ensure data is being sent?

One more question about PCM2902C

We put the analog inputs on the PCM2902 as stereo to R and L.

A signal that is a mixture of the two signals is being output as an output.

Now, a code is applied to separate the two signals by detecting the channel of the USB input. In the case of a commercial stereo microphone, it is recognized as two channels and separates the signal into two.
In the case of PCM2902, is there a function to set a channel or separate two signals when sending output?

I am not sure I understand the question. The DAC will output both left and right channels.
