I’m using a TI TAS5708 to drive one speaker on OUT_A and OUT_B (BTL configuration). Since I’m not using the second output (OUT_C and OUT_D) can I disconnect or float PVCC_C and PVCC_D? Will I still need the bootstrap capacitors BST_C and BST_D? Do I need to terminate the unused outputs somehow? In other words, what is the best way to minimize power and components if I am only using out_a and out-b?
Terry,
AC ground the inputs. The PVCC's still need power because of UVLO. The bootstraps are still needed. They can float the outputs.
