TLV320AIC3204: transmission interrupts when configure channel rapidly and repeatedly

Hi Team

Customer meets a issue of AIC3204. the signal transmission will be interrupted when configure the same channel of AIC3204 rapidly rapidly and repeatedly, then a noise occurs. shown as the below picture, channel 1 is I2S signal form DSP, and channel 2 is output signal from AIC.

after expanding the picture( channel 1 is output signal, channel 2 is I2S signal in this picture), you can find output signal stops but I2S signal still presents, and after I2S stops, a noise signal appears on output.

Can you show your insight for the reason why this issue appears?

What's in the configuration that you are looping? The configuration might reset and will take the time to reconfigure while source is still playing.

Depending on what you intend to do, maybe try to strip down the configuration and just loop what you intend to check.

Thanks for your support! Pls refer to the attachment for configuration.

the process customer are looping is: configuration 1，I2S data transmission, configuration 2 after completing transmission. if they looping this process rapidly, Pop noise occurs probability.

and the transmission channel they configure show as below.

The configuration is not for Line output but HP, is that what they want as it's different from the configuration above.

If the excel file is the setting, maybe try with the proposed sequence.
