    Hi Sam

       It depends on your Gain settings and your PVDD voltage.

       If you set a very small Gain and give largest PVDD, device may output a small but clipped waveform, without trigger Clip Detection. But if the output is high enough to reach the PVDD, will trigger Clip Detection. This function is detect the Output. Mainly decided by your Output voltage and PVDD voltage. The input not directly related.
