Hi team,

I know we released application note for acoustic echo cancellation by TLV320AIC3254.

1. Is it alright for re-using for AIC3262? What difference should customer consider?

2. Do you have application note for "DSP implementation of environmental noise reduction function using microphone input for NC"?

Hi,

No, the 2 devices have different miniDSP resources and we don't recommend using the miniDSP for application such as echo cancellation.

I don't find such apps. mote, maybe it's an old one and no longer available.

Hi,

This is good if user can work with its limitation, what we found many times they will hit the DSP resources and not achieving the best performance because of longer tail time or additional feature/filtering etc. That's why we recommend using external DSP for such application.

AIC3262 miniDSP seems not having the best performance about AEC. How about active noise cancel?

This is also removed from the DSP algorithm.
