Hi,

I have request from Automotive customer to estimate suitable amplifier to drive 50ohm speaker.

Amplifier should be automotive , and 5V power supply

Speakers specifications are follows.

DC resistance:50 ohm

Power Ratings: 0.5W nominal/1W maximum

Resonant Frequency: 850Hz +-20%

Mono voice coil Speaker

Please advice suitable Automotive amplifier

Hi TzuYang,

I'll follow up on your email along with the rest of the team. The amount of power for such high impedance load would require a boosted or higher Vin amplifier.
