Hi team,
May I know how to calculate the dynamic range when audio data is 16bit? In the datasheet, the dynamic range is written based on 32bit audio data. But my customer would like to know the dynamic range when audio data is 16bit.
Best regards,

Hi,
Let me check on this and get back with an update on this thread by the end of this week.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Lakshmi-san,
May I know the updates on my question?

Hi Shunsuke-san,
Apologies for the delay.
When capturing 16-bit data, the typical A-weighted dynamic range for the datasheet conditions (1kHz, -60dBFS AC sine tone at 3.3V AVDD, 48kHz sampling with BCLK=256fs, 0dB channel gain) is around 100dB.
Thanks and Regards,
Lakshmi Narasimhan
Hi Lakshmi-san,
Thank you for the reply. It seems like just the estimation of dynamic range. I would like to know the exact value of dynamic range. COuld you please kindly cinfirm how to calculate the dynamic range of audio converters? I would like to use the its equation to calculate dynamic range of other audio converters.
Best regards,
Shunsuke Yamamoto
Hi Lakshmi-san,
Could you please send me the measurement result of dynamic range when audio data is 16bit?
Best regards,
Shunsuke Yamamoto
Hi team,
I have solved my question with my colleague, so I will close this thread.
