TAA5212EVM-K: PurePath Console 3 cannot connect to TAA5212EVM-K via USB (windows 11)

Tool/software:

Could not connect via USB to TAA5212EVM-K on PPC3. (windows11)
The lower left corner of the screen is fixed showing TAA5212 - OFFLINE.
Device manager shows TI USB Audio UAC2.0 and the connection between windows and TAA5212EVM-K appears to be working.

Another PC (windows 10) confirmed the connection.

Although the devices are different, the symptoms may be similar to the following condition.

TAS6584Q1EVM: PurePath Console 3 v3.2.1 Build 306 & TAS6584 3.03 cannot connect to EVM through USB (Windows 11)

Hi Kurita,

Right click the speaker icon in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click "Sounds", navigate to recording tab, and ensure that Line-TI USB Audio UAC2.0 is selected. This option should also be available.

Also, Try a new micro-usb cable.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I tried selecting TI USB Audio UAC2.0 for sound input and output and changing some USB cables, but it remained OFFLINE.

What else could be the cause of my problem, what else should I try?

Also, Are you able to direct write to the IC via I2C monitor?

Reinstalling the TAx5xxx EVM APP showed no change.

I tried to write and read the registers from the I/O tab of the I2C monitor, but it displayed "OFFLINE MODE."
I checked the SDA and SCL of the AC-MB, but the signal did not change.

The following is the I/O tab display.

Hi Toshiro,

Try connecting EVM via USB to your PC alone. Often times many connections to computer tower, multiple monitors, or modems can misdirect USB communication.

Hi, Daveon,

I was able to connect to TAA5212EVM-K via USB with PPC3.
By connecting only the EVM to the PC via USB, the PPC3 was able to recognize it.
I had a sub-monitor connected via USB Type C, which seemed to be causing problems with it.
