Hi team,

Can LM48560 drive an electromagnetic buzzer? (not a piezo buzzer)

From the E2E thread below, it does seem that the device can drive a normal coiled speaker.

Additional question:

How should I connect the USB/I2C daughter board to the main LM48560EVM board?

The User Guide does not specify which way the cables go on J1 from the daughter board.

Hi Yu,

You should be able to drive a conventional speaker with this amplifier, it is mainly purposed for high voltage and not so much for high current, but it's good you're using the EVM to evaluate the performance and double check it fits well in your application.

The connection between EVM and controller board should be something as below:
