TLV320AIC3104EVM-K: AC-MODEVM LPA001B USB

Part Number: TLV320AIC3104EVM-K

Tool/software:

Hi team,

I am facing challenges in recognizing the USB devices on AC-MODEVM and TLV320AIC3104EVM. I tried installing the NI VISA driver 14.01 from one of the post, even then the device is not recognized.

TLV320AIC3104EVM-K: AC-MODEVM "connect USB" after drivers installed - Audio forum - Audio - TI E2E support forums

I have tried multiple iterations in upgrading the NI VISA driver, still no resolution.

In the device manager, I found two issues

a) Other devices " Texas Instruments DFU" not recognized.

b) TI USB AUDIO 2.0 not recognized.

I have enclosed screenshot

Enclosed screenshot of Connect USB Failure.

There are multiple post, none worked out for me. If TI provide a single image that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

I tested out the GUI with a fresh AIC3104 EVM and found the same issue with the device not being detected. The thing that fixed it was removing the "USB MODE" jumper on the AC-MODEVM that is installed by default. Try that and let me know if it fixes your issue! I haven't had the issue with the device driver, but I did re-install with the install for SLAC249 while testing this out, if you are still having driver issues see if you can uninstall and reinstall that driver, which should be part of the GUI install package.

    Best,
    Mir
