Hello,
I don't find sufficient information regarding the functins of SYNC in Master and in Slave-Mode.
Most information I found about TPA3118D2 but not knowing if they are also relevant fpr TPA3128D2.
Following Questions I have:
1. Is the frequency of SYNC Out/In is also 100 kHz +- 10% as for TPA3118D2?
2. Master/Slave: all PWM-frequencies are derived from this 100 kHz depending on setting of the signals AM0 to AM2?
3. If Master is in shut down mode, what is the status of SYNC? High, low , High-Z or other?
Also if master is in shut down because of faults?
4. If Slave, what is the reaction if SYNC is High, low, high-Z or other state of SYNC of master if in shutdown?
Regarding TPA3118D2 there are different suggestions:
a.: No Signal or constant signal at SYNC: Internal watchdog is activated and stop the slave-PWM? same as shutdown?
b.: Or the slave contiues running with an internal frequency near by 100 kHz?
5. How many slaves could be driven by one master?
In my setup there should be 1 master and 3 slaves.
6. The coupling network between SYNC master and slave in the datasheet is needed for the master out or for each slave in?
7. Do you have any idea how to create a circuit that keeps the slaves functioning even if the master fails?
8. Is the same behavior alos valid for TPA3126D2, TPA3129D2 and TPA3156D2?
