TAS2110: Layout example for top-sided assembly only

Hi,

According to the datasheet the inductor should be placed as close as possible between the corresponding pins. However the datasheets layout example places the inductor at the bottom side which i would like to avoid. Is there a layout example with all components on the top side only? That would be great.

Hi Olaf,

You can use this document as guideline; there are few pin differences but overall, the recommendations apply the same to TAS2110: TAS2x63QFN Schematic and Layout Guidelines (Rev. A)

In the above reference, the inductor is on the top side next to the amplifier IC, but you still have some components on the bottom side like GREG capacitor and some extra decoupling capacitors for PVDD/VBST.
