TLV320ADC6140: Pass-band at Non Audio sampling rate

Our customer wants to run TLV320ADC6140 at non audio sampling rate. As the original E2E thread introduced PPC3 clock tree would be a good help to identify MCLK and PLL setting.

Here is question, if we use fs=102.4kHz, what are Pass-band characteristics of Linear Phase Decimation Filter?

DS specified Pass-band is 0.454 x fs at 96kHz or 88.2kHz sampling rate and 0.3 x fs at 192kHz or 176.4kHz sampling rate.

How can we identify Pass-band characteristics at fs=102.4kHz? It might be corresponded to DSP_ clock and MOD_clock combination on clock tree.

Our customer try to replace ADS127xx DS-ADC to reduce BOM cost.

Hi Mochizuki-san,

For the above-mentioned sampling rate it is not recommended to use the TLV320ADC6140. Rather, we can use the TAA5212 ADC, I've attached a snapshot of the supported sampling rate here:

That is good proposal, TAA5212 PASI can support those sampling rate.

What is classification of pass band specification of Decimation filter characteristic?

And TAA5212 is not 4ch version ADC, do you have 4ch or more ch ADCs?

We do not have a 4-channel version of the TAA5212 that can support similar sampling rate ranges.

Okay, there is 2ch version ADC device only.

BTW, what is pass band specification at Fs=102.4kHz?

How can we identify this specification at non audio sampling frequency?
