AIC3204 EVM Intel x64 PC driver

The MODEVM used to support the AIC codec EVMs uses the TAS2010B USB audio interface which is not recommended for new designs. Drivers for this interface only appear to be supported for AMD x64. There are no intel drivers available and Windows installs incorrect drivers.

Where are the Intel x64 drivers for these codec evms? Do we have to build an AMD PC to evaluate this evm?

I don't believe this is the case. Can you provide more details about the problem you're seeing?

Attached is my log of struggling with this driver install. It appears that the current version of windows 7 seems to like the TAS1020 as a different device and installs very sticky drivers. Attempts at replacing them with drivers from the TI site (3204 and TAS1020 pages) fail miserably to the extent of instant blue screen.

I think the trick would be a driver install exe that places a preference for the correct driver in front of the Windows preference. I could not locate one.
