TPA3110D2 with 16-ohm load

Our customer has a question about TPA3110D2.
I'm posting the questions for a customer:

Would like to check whether TPA3110D2 can drive
16-ohm load x 1(mono/PBTL mode) to 4Watt(Max) ?
(Supply Voltage : Vcc=24V)

The datasheet does not have the chart about
"OUTPUT POWER vs SUPPLY VOLTAGE (PBTL) for
16-ohm load" .

Hi Takishin-san,

24V, 16R and 4W is not a problem. Please see attached material for simple class D output power estimation tools and calculations.

Please note that the LC filter need to be designed based on the load impedance. See the LC filter apps note below for more details -

Would you advise recommended LC Filter Component Values for 16-ohm load (AD & BD Modulations)?

Hi Takishin-san,

TPA3110D2 only have BD modulation. 47uH+0.33uF can work with 16R load with 0.746 damping factor.
