Hi!
I would like to use this DAC because of high performance, but I don't want to use dual supply for the OPAMPs. I tried to separate the DC component with a big ceramic cap, and the another input of the opamp is connected to half supply (2.5V). I included the schematic below. I use the dac only for audio purposes so I don't need DC component. This circuit will work? I dont know the inner structure of the DAC so I don't know there are a better solution.
Thanks,
Balint
It is not a good idea, because you will degrade quality of this DAC. If you want high quality DAC without negative power supply, that you can use a new DAC PCM5242 with differential output. If single-ended line-out is enough for you that you can use PCM5102A which has internal charge pump for negative voltage and line-out without need of DC block capacitor.
