Audio amp: 1W/8-ohm, analog input, single-end output

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2006D1, TPA2001D1, TPA2005D1

Hi all,
Could you please tell me the optimal audio amp which meets the below requirements?

1. Output power: 1W / 8-ohm, Single-end output
2. Bi polar output (if possible)
2. Supply voltage: less than DC 8V
3. Analog input
4. Ta: -20 to +70 deg C

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Toshi

  • Hi Toshi

The TPA2001D1 meets the requirements. You could use the TPA2005D1 or TPA2006D1 too. But they have an output power a little bit higher than 1W. I recommend you to take a look these devices.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

  • Hi Figueroa-san,

    Thanks for your response.

My customer's requirement is a single-end output because of their application.
So that I think your recommended ICs do not meet the 1W output.

If the power supply is grater than 8V, what is the recommendation?

    Thanks and regards,
    Toshi

  • Hi Toshi-san

Could you please tell me what you mean with Bipolar output?
Unfortunately Low Power Audio Amplifiers can't be handled with voltages higher than 8V. They generally handle a maximum voltage from 5.5V.

Please let me know your opinion.
