RC4580: the inter structure of the Opamp

Part Number: RC4580

Below is the inter structure of the Opamp RC4580 from datasheet.  I would like to know more about it.

When Va = V(+input)-V(-input) > 0 , What will happen to Q1 and Q2 ?

When Va = V(+input)-V(-input) < 0 , What will happen to Q1 and Q2 ?

And could you tell me , if PIN(output) is open, and Va = V(+input)-V(-input) >0 ,  will the output voltage be divided by Q1 and Q2?   Or will be about the same as Vcc+?

  • Hi Zhun Lui,

The internal circuitry and the internal operation of the device are the intellectual property of TI.
The functional block diagram is just to provide an idea of the device circuit.

  • Hi José Luis Figueroa,
We are let the output be open on purpose, then measure the Vout to confirm whether the reason of defect is RC4580.
Could you please tell me if PIN(output) is open, and V(+input)-V(-input) >0 , will the output voltage will be about the same as Vcc+? or will be significantly lower than Vcc+?
