Using the PCM2902 ADC inputs

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM2902

I am a bit confused about how the PCM2902 ADC inputs work., but hope that you can put me on the right path please. I am trying to use the PCM2902 as a ADC to SPDIF and/or USB input converter,  My intention is to be able to use the analogue inputs even if the PCM2902 is not connected to a USB source,

1. When I insert an analogue signal, can I receive that signal via the USB port into a PC?

2. Assuming I feed the PCM2902 with an external power supply, can I get the analogue inputs to put out a signal on the SPDIF and analogue outputs if I do not have the USB port connected to a PC?

Thanks in advance

  • Hello,

I have the same question. So I am bumping this post. I want to be able to convert audio from analog to digital (SPDIF OUT) without the use of a computer. I do have external power supply. Anyone, please?

    Thanks,
