TAS5825M: Which audio process flow is selected by default

At power-up, does this chip defaults to one of the audio processing flows it supports? Or should it always be configured via a config file dumped using PPC3?

Hi Manusha,
The AMP device needs to be configured by host every time power-up - no default configuration inside. And you can try to use PPC3 tool to generate the configuration file very easily.

I have several chips to evaluate for my design which are from different vendors and wanted to do a rough run with this chip before buying the EVM and PPCMB. Looks like this is almost impossible as the chip wont work without a config and to create a config I need run PPC3 which in turn require both EVM and PPCMB. But thank you for the answer.

By default the chip will play audio when you give it I2S
