Does SRC419x support I2S 16bit input data format? I saw the same question but the answer repeated its pdf that has not clear description for I2S mode. So I need just the simple answer yes or no.

Yes The SRC4192 and SRC4193 have an I2S Mode with word length up to 24-bit.

Hi Steve,

I know that 4192/3 can work with word length up to 24 bit. But my question was: Does it work with 16bit in I2S mode? Because there isn't such mode in Table 1:

Now I see the reason for your confusion!

My understanding is that for Left justified formats (LJ and I2S) the Bit setting is not important, If you give it only 16 bits, it will populate the lower 8 bits as zeros.

These are older devices so I don't have the design support on these like many of our more recent devices. So I can't say this with absolute authority. Do you have an EVM?
