Dear expert,

Customer are looking for audio DAC solution.

The spec as below.

- support I2S interface

- For 1W~3W speaker

- Maximum distortion (THD+N) of 1% at 80 dBspl at 1 m distance

Is PCM1754 a right solution for this application?

Hi Ben,

The PCM175x devices do not have output drive capabilities, and cannot drive a speaker. It would need an analog amplifier on the output that is capable of driving the 3W load and meet the THD requirements. If you would like an integrated solution, you could evaluate some of the TAS products.
