MEMS mic PDM output to I2S converter

Hello E2E,

We do like to take in the MEMS mic PDM output to TI's MCU(CC3220). I2S or I2C is desirable for the taking format. Please let us know any good solution.

Thank you for your answer.

I do like to select the PCM1865, could you let me know the reason why does TI recommend the TLV320ADC3101? ( If possible, I do like to omit DSP development work. )

The linked thread is a little old, and there are newer devices that are perhaps better suited to this task.

The TLV320ADC3140 is capable of 8 channel PDM to I2S/TDM conversion. There is a cost optimized version of this device coming that will be PDM input only also. In the meantime the ADC3140 can be used to evaluate.

The TLV320ADC3101 can also be used, I would honestly recommend it before the PCM1865 from a size/cost perspective
