hi there.

It is stated in the datasheet that the string descriptor can be modified on request.

Let me know how to modified string descriptor.

if string descriptor was changed, should I be re-certified by USB-IF?

    Hello,

    As mentioned in the other post you referenced, TI no longer offers the capability to program custom string descriptors.  This capability was at one time offered which is why the datasheet mentions it, but hasn't been possible for quite some time.  The datasheet is slated to remove this information during the next update.
