Hi team

PP-SALB-EVM PP-SALB-EVM is OBSOLETE on TI, i need a replacement to caracterize speakers for TAS5766 or similar. Can i use PP-SALB2-EVM or there is some other choice？

These two boards are not compatible. I have looped in the team for the TAS5766 so they can help out further.

Hi Lidong,

It depends on the speaker output level you need:

1. If your speaker output power is below 5W, you can use PP-SALB2-EVM for replacement.

2. If your output power is above 5W, you need to wait out new PP-SALB-EVM to be in production. It may need at least one month for RTM. If you use PP-SALB2-EVM at this level, the model may not be accurate.
